It’s official. last week. Now it’s a matter of making sure we’re on the right track. Getting started is the easy part. Making sure what we’re doing makes sense and that we’re not just following the Scrum trend is another. I don’t want to follow a methodology just for the sake of it, but rather adapt it to our needs as best as possible.
Why get certified?
Just thinking about our team, I don’t think I would consider it seriously. My case is a bit special because I also do consulting projects for taiwan whatsapp number data clients. In recent years, what I have done most has been project management within an e-commerce context. I have also almost always worked with development teams that followed the Scrum methodology.
I have recently seen a lot of job offers looking for certified Scrum Masters. This is something that is quite popular in Germany. Within the context of project management, the PRINCE certificate could also make sense.
How to get ROI from the certificate?
In my case, I would get a double benefit. On there is an active acquaintance with the one hand, I would be able to put into practice what I had learned immediately in our organization. At the same time, this would give me experience that I could apply to projects that seek exactly that.
The cost of the certification is around 1,800 euros. You can also find it a little cheaper if you do it 100% online. In this case, I think I would like to do something in person also because of the fact of meeting people who could be interesting on a professional (or even personal) level.
I don’t think there is an absolute truth in the answer to this question.
I am on this side
I focus on my strengths. But maybe that’s because database d I’m lucky. Maybe it’s because my strengths overlap with the areas I need to achieve my goals. If your goal is to run a half marathon and after climbing three steps you run out of breath, then it seems that you need to work on a weakness. So in the end we are left with the famous “it depends”. If your weaknesses prevent you from achieving your goals, work on them. If not, focus on your strengths. Who is right? Time will tell. That said, now I have to give it a spin to see if it makes sense to me.
